Government Servants: 21 to 32 years if 2 years continuous govt service. Armed Forces: 21 to 32 years for serving. AJK / Balochistan / FATA / GB: 21 to 33 years with 3 years relaxation. Special Quota: Disabled, Buddhist community 21 to 32 years. Education: At least 2nd Division Bachelor degree 14 years (BA/BSc). Age relaxation maximum 35 years not allowed. CSS Age Relaxation Rules FPSC

FPSC allows age relaxation: Government servants with 2 years continuous service get 2 years relaxation (30 to 32). Armed forces serving personnel 2 years. AJK, Gilgit Baltistan, Balochistan, FATA, disabled persons, Buddhist community get 3 years (30 to 33). Scheduled castes get 3 years. Maximum age limit after relaxation is 35 years for some categories but CSS limited to 33 generally. No relaxation for general candidates from Punjab, Sindh, KP. Age counted on 31st December, even 1 day over 30 is not eligible.

CSS Attempts and Eligibility

CSS age 21-30 allows 3 attempts. If you are 21 you have 9 years to attempt 3 times. Many students waste attempts early. Best age to start CSS is 23-24 after graduation.
